My Path as a Therapist: Compassionate, Tailored, and Real

Hey, I’m Molly, a registered BACP therapist (MBACP) with a deep passion for supporting people through the challenges life throws their way. My journey into therapy is both personal and professional as I’ve been on the other side of it, and it’s that experience that fuels my desire to help others find their own path to healing. Therapy is a place where you can leave behind anxieties, fears of judgment, and just be yourself. No pressure to have it all figured out; I’m here to meet you exactly where you are.

What I Offer

I’m not here to judge or to tell you what you should be doing, I’m here to walk alongside you. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, relationships, or just the overwhelming pressure of life, my role is to help you feel heard and supported. Therapy is a place for you to express yourself without the fear of being misunderstood or judged. I work with you at your pace, in a way that feels comfortable for you, because every person’s journey is different.

As a therapist who’s part of Gen Z, I understand the unique pressures that come with living in this fast-paced, always-connected world. The constant social media comparisons, the pressure to succeed, and the emotional toll of living in a world that feels like it’s moving faster than we can keep up with – I’ve been there too. I’m passionate about helping people navigate these modern challenges and come out the other side feeling empowered and grounded in who they truly are.

Why I Love This Work

I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of people, but most notably, I’ve supported students through the pressures of academic life, identity struggles, and the emotional challenges that come with being young in today’s world. In my work at the University of Derby, I’ve seen how hard it can be to manage everything at once – and how powerful it can be when you have the right support. I’ve also worked with individuals and couples at Relate Derby, helping them through relationship struggles and finding ways to improve communication and connection.

What motivates me every day is the belief that everyone has the strength to heal and grow. Therapy isn’t about fixing what’s “broken” – it’s about helping you rediscover your resilience, understand your emotions, and find your way forward with more confidence. I’m here to support you as you uncover your own path and move through life’s challenges with authenticity and clarity.
